Lost a lot along life’s way-
people, wealth, material
Gained enough wisdom to not have too much to say
while I’m happy to have you

Now a political system wants to take it all away
so we hold out against these
elected criminals
Telling us we don’t fit in society if we don’t play their game
and for food, healthcare, and jobs they deem us
ineligible

But while you hold out for me, I will hold out with you
And while you stand up with me, I will stand with you, too
As these restaurants close their doors and hotels claim they have no room
Ill keep you warm with candlelight
and now campfires

We don’t need vax passes to cross the border in a canoe
Find a community of people who
respect bodily autonomy
Here everyone’s been following orders,
separating over a flu
When so many lonely heros
need us to show love to one another
Someone tell the puppet masters
we don’t need a compromise
We have our natural rights and freedom,
never needed their opinions
And notify the Pied Piper he should
cease and desist
Whistling his merry tune
destroying this country for
our children
