Wondered if you were gazing up
at that same time
trying to unwind

When you glanced at the moon tonight
did you think of me?
Could you see my hearts tenderness
sense my presence..
or hear my apology?
Did you understand how i was your prisoner
that never wanted to be released?
When you glanced up at the moon tonight
did you remember setting me free?

I’m going out to a place tonight
Search for you in faces that pass
Going to turn the keys
listen for leads on the breeze
or in songs i used to play before the crash
If it takes another lifetime for me to find you-
that’s not too great a task
Looking up at this moon tonight
reflecting on times past
